Inspired directly by Ryan Burch’s redefinition of twin fin fish designs and surfing in the 2015 film Psychic Migrations, this sidecut style fish is a shred machine marrying the loose, effortless speed of a classic fish with the radical aggression of modern shortboard surfing.
The sidecut feature is a high-performance tweak on a classic template. The break in the template is positioned between the feet of the rider, creating a pivot point ahead of the fins, which allows for a tighter arcing turn than a traditional fish template. A touch of extra tail rocker and a single concave bottom combine for an incredibly sensitive and responsive ride. Fly down the line, hit the lip, wrap it around, and repeat.
